Approach
Life presents us all with challenging experiences, from conflict in relationships, to unexpected loss, to major stress at work and home. Often these challenges lead to personal self-reflection and growth. Other times, they leave us feeling "stuck" or not knowing how to cope. Counselling can be very helpful to individuals who find themselves struggling to solve their problems and move forward with confidence and dignity.
For 6 years, Kalua has had the privilege of helping dozens of clients navigate these bumps in the road and discover a sense of wholeness and balance. She does so by establishing a safe, confidential and collaborative working relationship where she assists her clients in identifying key problems, setting goals, clarifying underlying feelings, discovering patterns and learning tools to enhance well-being and healing.
Her approach is integrative and holistic, and geared to meet the unique needs of each client. Whether you are dealing with relationship difficulties, weighed down with grief and loss, coping with trauma or abuse, struggling with self-esteem, burdened with stress, grappling with a major life change, or seeking relief from the symptoms of depression, anxiety or other major life challenges, therapy can offer a safe place to address and resolve these issues.
